The European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS) has officially become a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), marking a major milestone in its mission to advance heritage science.
With its legal seat in Florence, Italy, E-RIHS ERIC coordinates research across 11 founding countries and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration among scientists, conservators, and cultural institutions. It provides access to cutting-edge research facilities, digital tools, and training through the HS Academy, supporting innovation in heritage conservation.
The transition to an ERIC status strengthens E-RIHS’s role in European and global heritage research, expanding opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
